What is PT-141?
Bremelanotide is a cyclic heptapeptide derived from Melanotan II. It acts mainly on the MC3 and MC4 melanocortin receptors in the brain, rather than on blood vessels, which distinguishes its mechanism from PDE5 inhibitors.
